A 20kWh Residential Energy Storage Upgrade in Spain
We recently received installation photos from a customer in Spain. The customer already owned a Deye inverter and wanted to increase the storage capacity of the existing home solar system. To meet this requirement, LVFU Energy supplied two 10 kWh wall-mounted batteries, creating a total 20kWh residential energy storage system.

Two 10 kWh Wall-Mounted Batteries for Space-Saving Installation
The project uses two 10 kWh wall-mounted batteries, which provide a combined storage capacity of 20 kWh. The customer mounted both batteries on the wall alongside the Deye inverter. As a result, the installation creates a compact and organized equipment layout while making efficient use of the available wall space.
In addition, the wall-mounted design reduces the system’s use of floor space. Therefore, this 20kWh home energy storage system can suit home utility rooms, garages, and other areas with limited installation space.
Integration with the Customer’s Existing Deye Inverter
During the project, the installation team connected the two LVFU 10 kWh batteries with the customer’s existing Deye inverter. The customer therefore upgraded the solar energy system without replacing the original inverter or significantly changing the existing layout.
This approach allows homeowners to add battery storage while continuing to use suitable existing equipment. However, installers should always confirm the exact inverter model, communication protocol, voltage range, power specifications, and battery configuration requirements before starting a new project.
A Flexible 20kWh Residential Energy Storage Configuration
The two batteries use a modular configuration that matches the customer’s current home energy storage needs. At the same time, the modular design provides a flexible foundation for future expansion, subject to the inverter specifications and the battery system’s parallel-connection requirements.
For homeowners who want to improve solar self-consumption or increase their available storage capacity, a 20kWh residential energy storage system can provide a practical upgrade option. The final battery capacity should always reflect the household’s energy consumption, solar generation, backup requirements, and available installation space.
