From dry cells to clean fragments: LVFU battery recycling practices

Most people see used batteries. But for some companies they see materials we’ve already processed by the thousands of tons of fractions clean enough to flow back into China’s supply chains.

he battery recycle spent the last 5+ years running real lines, not pilots and we’ve learned one thing:
Every cell format and chemistry behaves differently but if you engineer the process, the outcome is predictable.

We recycle dry cells of all types:

  • Cylindrical – rigid shell, pressure resistant
  • Pouch – fragile, electrolyte prone
  • Prismatic – hybrid casings, layered internals

And here’s what we consistently recover at scale:

  • Black mass ->99% purity, tuned for hydro/pyro recovery
  • Copper granulate – 95% Cu, ready for remelt
  • Aluminum granulate – 90% Al, clean fraction
  • Polymer foil — separators, dry and pure

Recycling of used batteries,What matters:

The used battery isn’t a “mixed chaos in a sack.”

The recycled battery fractions with repeatable quality, validated batch after batch.

That’s why some  partners can run their hydro and pyro plants without yield surprises.
