In fact, the process mirrors residential storage requirements in principle, but involves stricter scrutiny due to the larger number of cells and greater system complexity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Applicable Standards<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Current mandatory standard:\u00a0<strong>TIS 2217\u20112548<\/strong>\u00a0(old IEC 62133)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recommended upgrade:\u00a0<strong>TIS 62133\u20112:2565<\/strong>\u00a0(aligned with IEC 62133\u20112) \u2013 switching now ensures full compliance once this becomes mandatory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Key Certification Restrictions<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Certificate holder must be a locally registered entity in Thailand.<\/strong>\u00a0Foreign manufacturers cannot directly hold a TISI certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On-site factory audit is mandatory.<\/strong>&nbsp;For large-capacity systems, auditors pay extra attention to production consistency across batches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>QR code labeling is also mandatory.<\/strong>&nbsp;Each container or cabinet must carry its own independent label.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Part 2: Grid-Connection Certification (PCS and System-Level) \u2013 Must Be Listed on the MEA\/PEA Whitelist<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lvfuenergy.com\/de\/produkt\/container-lifepo4-battery-ess-215kwh\/\"><strong>C&amp;I storage systems<\/strong><\/a> typically operate at higher power levels. Therefore, they must meet both MEA and PEA grid-connection requirements. Large-scale projects may also involve EGAT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Inverter\/PCS Grid-Connection Standards<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Systems must comply with the\u00a0<strong>MEA\/PEA Grid Code<\/strong>. In addition, manufacturers must provide IEC test reports from accredited third-party bodies, covering:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>IEC 62109\u20111 \/ -2<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Inverter safety<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>IEC 61727<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Grid interface characteristics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>IEC 62116<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Anti-islanding protection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. System-Level Standards \u2013 Specific Requirements for C&amp;I Systems<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond inverter-level tests, C&amp;I systems must also provide system-level safety test reports. These should align with either:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>UL 9540<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Energy storage system safety, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>IEC 62933 series<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Electrochemical energy storage system safety<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Whitelist Application Process<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>First, submit the above test reports and system technical documentation to MEA or PEA. Then, the authority&#8217;s technical committee reviews the submission. Once approved, the product models are listed on the official whitelist. At that point, installers can proceed with grid-connection procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Part 3: Additional C&amp;I-Specific Requirements \u2013 Generally Not Applicable to Residential Storage<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1.
