Customer Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This Philippine household had already installed a solar system with a Deye inverter. However, the existing storage capacity was limited. As a result, surplus power generated during peak daytime hours could not be fully stored, and nighttime power supply struggled to cover the entire household load. The customer wanted to expand storage capacity without replacing the inverter or PV modules \u2013 improving solar self-consumption and ensuring stable nighttime power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project Configuration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The project uses two LVFU 51.2V 314Ah floor-standing batteries. Each unit provides approximately 16.1kWh, and the two units connect in parallel for a total storage capacity of about 32.1kWh. Because the batteries use a floor-standing design, they sit directly on the floor of the indoor equipment room. This makes installation straightforward and also simplifies future maintenance and capacity expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the installation photos show, the two LVFU batteries, the Deye inverter, and the distribution box sit together in a neat, compact layout with clean cable routing. On the roof, the PV modules use an elevated mounting structure, making full use of the available roof space to capture solar energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installation and Commissioning<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During installation, the technicians connected the two LVFU batteries in parallel to the customer’s existing Deye inverter system. After connecting the communication cables, the system completed protocol matching successfully. The inverter recognized the battery bank correctly, and the charge\/discharge logic has operated stably ever since. The entire commissioning process went smoothly, with no need to replace or significantly modify the existing inverter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
